Ajman International Film Festival unveils first titles
AJMAN: The first films of the upcoming Ajman International Film Festival have been officially announced.
Among the list of regional titles are Paint Drying In The Yemen, believed to feature the slowest moving plotline in the history of cinema, and the hotly-anticipated biopic of Omar Sharif, The Iron Fist, with George Clooney in the lead role. Romantics will no doubt be looking forward to Mall You Need Is Love, funded by the Dubai Shopping Festival and set among several of the Emirate’s shopping centres. There are documentaries too, in particular Hashtag Revolutionaries, which aims to highlight the tireless efforts of the region’s social media community during the Arab Spring, who would risk harm by retweeting Al Jazeera headlines while holding a scorching hot latte in the other hand.
A full schedule of events is expected in the coming weeks, and with it a list of the celebrities who will be attending.
The Pan-Arabia Enquirer is proud to announce that it has been named the official media partner for the upcoming Ajman International Film Festival. The satirical news organ will work closely with the festival organisers, producing a daily paper throughout the duration of the event.
