Balcony looking forward to a bit of ‘me time’ as summer approaches

ABU DHABI: Claiming that it had indeed enjoyed the occasional bit of company over the winter months, a balcony in Abu Dhabi this morning admitted that it was looking forward to having a bit of time to itself as the temperatures rise.

“I mean, it’s really great that they come out each morning, have a stretch, look at the dead plant and the broken shisha pipe and go back indoors,” it reportedly told friends. “But, to be honest, there’s not a cat’s chance in hell they’re ever going to get the broom out so I’d rather they just let the dust gather than walk footprints all over the place.”
