Ban Ki-moon confirms that there is “some sort of conflict” going on in Gaza

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL: United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon flew to Israel yesterday to put a speedy end to the crisis in Gaza before it spiraled out of control.

Within just a few hours of arrival, Ki-moon consulted with several local intelligence sources and was able to release a statement in which he confirmed that “some sort of conflict” was going on.

“The next step for us here at the UN is to establish the cause of the conflict and to work towards publishing a series of reports outlining possible proposals and agreements that we can effectively put in place in order to ensure that no innocent lives are lost,” he said, adding that this was a procedure that could take “up to six months”.
