Disappointment for passengers in crowded lift as exceptionally sweaty man presses top floor button

Audible groans heard from lift 2C in Doha’s Palm Tower 1

The remarkably sweaty gentleman is believed to have squeezed into a crowded lift much like this one

DOHA: There were audible gasps of horror among the 22 passengers of elevator 2C in Doha’s Palm Tower 1 office tower this morning when the overweight, sweat-drenched gentleman who squeezed in at the last second reached over to press the top floor button.

“I’m up on the 52rd, so I’ve got at least quarter of an hour of this,” silently muttered estate agent Francis Coventry as he attempted to inconspicuously manouvre his elbow so that it didn’t brush the heavily perspirating man’s soaked shirt.
