Dubai-Abu Dhabi Hyperloop To Stop At 10 Malls, Adding Just Two Hours to Journey Time

UAE commuters have been given the very first glimpse of the shopping and entertainment opportunities that will be available to them as they travel on the advanced Hyperloop transportation system due to connect Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Just days after the first Hyperloop pod was unveiled, transport authorities announced 10 new shopping malls and theme parks that would be constructed along the 140km route.

Propelled in a vacuum tube with magnets, each pod can travel at speeds of up to 1000kmph, cutting the direct journey time between Dubai and Abu Dhabi to an astonishing 12 minutes, which rises to just 2 hours 12 minutes with the addition of the malls.

“This is a beautiful marriage of Hyperloop’s world class technologies with our own world beating shopping experiences,” said a spokesperson.
