Fadi Flat-White, a Lebanese-born social media solutions curator and widely-acknowledged moron, is said to have made the purchase long before the device was revealed yesterday.
“To be brutally honest, given that it’s smaller than the iPad I can’t see me ever using it,” he told reporters after the official launch. “But as I was the first person in the region to get the iPad 3 and iPhone 5 and read Steve Jobs’ biography six times, it was important that I kept up else face ridicule from my friends in the social media marketing and PR industry.”
Flat-White also revealed that he was enjoying his new iPhone 5, which he reserved for an estimated $200,000 days before it was unveiled last month.
“I’ve had it for a few weeks now,” he said. “It might not work yet because I haven’t got the right sized Sim card, but it looks absolutely great on my desk and when I take it out and about around town.”
