Game of Thrones episodes cut to four minutes for Middle East viewers

With the hotly anticipated third season of Game of Thrones just days away from airing, the entertainment network broadcasting the fantasy adventure across the Middle East has dropped several major clues to whet regional appetites.

“The third series of Game of Thrones will take George R.R. Martin’s epic tale into breathtaking new territories, with a brutal father-son encounter between Tywin and Tyrion and several new characters joining the fray across the seven kingdoms,” OSN said in a statement released this morning.

“We’re all very much looking forward to joining our Middle East subscribers in watching the first enthralling episode, which promises to be four minutes of edge-of-the-seat action once we’ve cut out all the saucy bits and excessive nudity, inclusive of advert breaks.”
