Hilarious April Fools’ joke pushes Iranian nuclear talks back six months

Gag reportedly involved a bag of enriched uranium and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Iranian nuclear talks suffered a setback earlier today after an April Fools’ prank reportedly set negotiations back by half a year.

According to sources close to the discussions between Iran and six world powers in Switzerand, the “hilarious” joke featured the head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organisation, a large plastic bag of enriched Uranium and even an appearance from former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

“Honestly, it had us all, including John Kerry, in absolute stitches,” the source added. “But unfortunately as a result it has forced us to push the deadline by at least six months.”
