Iran to send Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as UN ambassador

Reports emerge after previous nomination was refused US visa

TEHRAN: Iran is planning to send Mahmoud Ahmadinjead as the country’s representative to the United Nations, according to reports. The news comes just a day after the US said it would not be granting a visa to Hamid Aboutalebi, Iran’s first choice as UN diplomat, due to his involvement in the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran.

“Fine, if they don’t want Aboutalebi, who is pretty moderate by most standards, let’s see how they feel when mad ol’ Mahmoud is up there ranting about the Holocaust, Israel and space monkeys,” Iranian president Hassan Rouhani is reported to have said.

    this guy was involved in the Iranian hostage crises also.. just look at some of the earlier pictures you will see him leading blindfolded hostages in or out of a building.

    So if they don’t send one Mahmoud, they send another Mahmoud. When will the world wake up to the fact that these nutters are playing games that the West don’t know how to play and they are enjoying every minute of it.
