Mad Men confirms new ‘Lebanese Sales Guy’ character for season six
With the sixth season of Mad Men just weeks away from launch, Lionsgate has revealed that its hit series will be introducing its first Middle Eastern character.
Fadi Noor, a ‘smooth Lebanese sales guy with an eye for the ladies,’ will join Don Draper and the team at ad agency Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. And producers promise that the well-groomed Beirut boy will be a real cat among the pigeons.
“Fadi will be putting a touch of Middle Eastern spice into series six,” revealed executive producer Scott Hornbacher in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“His open-shirted, well-perfumed style causes a bit of a stir among the suits and ties. But when they discover his fondness for a cigarette and a bit of low-level sexual harassment, they know that he’s Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce material!’
While producers are remaining tight-lipped about plotlines, it is believed that the new season will move into the 1970s, with the ad agency gaining new clients including a big hair gel manufacturer.
“Let’s just say that when Fadi hears about that, things get messy!” hinted Hornbacher.
