Man behind Ravi’s butter chicken tops Forbes billionaire list for 5th year running

DUBAI: The mystery-shrouded figure behind Dubai’s famous Ravi Restaurant chain has once again topped the annual Forbes billionaire list. Mr Ravi, as he is widely known, beat Carlos Slim, Bill Gates and Warren ‘International’ Buffett to claim the magazine’s coveted ‘world’s wealthiest’ crown, thanks largely to the continued economic success of his renowned butter chicken recipe.

    Agree with most of the people here about the serving at Mr. Ravi, have visited a relatively new restaurant in al safa 2 by the name of Shahi Angethi, i feel in all the 10 years in dubai by far the best butter chicken i have had & some other authentic mughlai/awadhi cuisine. They have a website with some interesting facts & explanation of the cuisine. http://www.shahiangethi.com
