Manchester City plan first ever solid gold open-top bus parade

Fresh from winning the English Premier League on Sunday, Manchester City have announced that the team will be celebrating their victory with a solid gold open-top bus parade this afternoon.

The 24-carat, diamond-studded bus – which was a first for manufacturer’s Scania, whose most luxurious vehicle to date included cupholders and a small digital map of the route – will take the players and Premier League and League Cup trophies on a tour of the streets of Manchester.

“They won silverware, they deserve a gold bus!” said Abu Dhabi spokesperson Hafez Hafela.

A source from the Manchester police admitted the bus, which has an estimated value of $4.6 million worth of precious metal and gems, posed “something of a security risk”.

Scania has confirmed that the bus hub cabs would remain low-grade plastic.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi has announced that 25 streets in Khalifa City B will be renamed after members of the 2013/2014 Manchester City squad.

This is disgraceful. I cannot believe that Abu Darby would allow such disgusting waste of money when so many people can’t even afford the rent in that country. They should be ashamed of themselves. Will it travel to Dubai?
