Mandela was true inspiration to me says man who sanctions murder of civilians through drone strikes
WASHINGTON: There were outbursts of confusion yesterday as a politician renowned for authorising the murder of numerous civilians across Pakistan and Yemen through deadly unmanned drone strikes spoke of his deep admiration for the late South African statesman Nelson Mandela.
“His struggle against injustice and oppression was a true inspiration to me,” said the man, who happens to be commander in chief of the world’s largest military force.
“Hang on a minute, doesn’t this guy support Israel? I’m deeply confused,” said an observer.
