Middle East website unveils world’s most expensive logo

New Pan-Arabia Enquirer masthead crafted using image of 24-carat gold worth $140,000

Already home to the world’s most opulent cars, hotels, restaurants and hair extensions, the Middle East can now add website logos to its growing list of luxurious titles.

In an announcement made this morning, The Pan-Arabia Enquirer, the region’s premier online news source, unveiled the most expensive digital logo ever made.

The 360x126px masthead, which will be displayed prominently on the Enquirer’s website, has been specially crafted by jewellers using an image of 24-carat gold valued at over $140,000.

“The Pan-Arabia Enquirer has always been about pushing new boundaries, and this plush logo is no exception,” said the website’s acting editor Baltimore Stafford. “We expect this lavish creation to attract VIP and luxe-loving visitors from all over the world.”

Although Stafford said the Enquirer hadn’t originally intended to sell the logo, he admitted it would consider unloading its prize possession “for the right price”.

I think some one has been using paintshop pro to touch this up, tried a download on my 3D printer and it came out in copper. What a rip off

A corporate logo for $140,000 – oh, of course, it’s satire.

Add a zero and you might be near the truth.

Add two zeros and you might be near Ooredoo.
