Oman determined to get more in the news in 2013

Muscat: Going to be huge.

MUSCAT: 2013 is going to be “the year people start taking notice of Oman,” according to one of the country’s top PR executives. “We’re not exactly sure how, but we’re absolutely determined to get Oman in the news more over the next 12 months,” Calvin Dimebar told The Pan-Arabia Enquirer yesterday. “The UAE and Qatar are regularly in the headlines for building and buying things, and articles are always packed full of stuff about the likes of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel, granted not always for the right reasons. Oman may have been quiet recently, but that’s about to change. Watch this space!”
