JEDDAH: A steamy novel from Saudi Arabia has become an overnight sensation across the Kingdom. One Shade of Black, which tells the story of a woman’s erotic awakening and comes in at a sizzling two pages long after censorship, has raced to the top of the Saudi romantic fiction charts in just two weeks. Experts predict it will go on to beat Lady Chatterley’s Lover to become the country’s biggest selling book of all time.
