Social media guru unsure how to differentiate self from other social media gurus in Twitter profile

BEIRUT: Having reportedly sought to set himself apart from other social media gurus active on Twitter, Beirut-based Wael Jackalope, 32, this morning reached the decision to update his profile on the social messaging site. “Given that everyone I know online has become a guru these days, I just think it’s necessary to do something new to stand out,” he told friends. At the time of going to press, Jackalope was undecided as to whether he should describe his abilities in Facebook page writing and Twitter hashtag creation as those of social media maverick, maestro or great white shark. “It’s a shame, as I’ve really enjoyed being a guru, but in this business you’ve got to move to stay alive,” he explained.
