The 450-pound Bengal tiger, who plays the character Richard Parker in Ang Lee’s 3D adaptation of Life of Pi, reportedly became incensed by a camera flash while posing for photographers at the Madinat Jumeirah, pouncing on a group of festival attendees stood nearby.
In the ensuing melee, three Egyptian TV stars, a Lebanese documentary maker and Morgan Freeman were savaged before the tiger’s handlers stepped in to calm the situation. The five remain in a critical state.
“To be honest, we just assumed he’d been given the necessary media training to deal with such events,” said one of the organisers, before quipping, “it’s just a good job the carpet is red!”

Your intelligence ratings are plummeting with every comment Abishek
It is a zionist conspiracy that everywhere else was pressured into not reporting it. This website is the only one that did not crack under the pressure- alhamdulillah for free speech.
Yes, Abhishek, I just checked with the other webs as well as my spider web and nobody’s heard anything. Maybe it was the journalists that were mauled that’s why they are not writing?
Omg that’s terrible! My thoughts go out to their families.
Your BS detector is so highly tuned, Abhishek. I suppose it’s because you read Gulf News.
I hope that Tiger was put down.
I have never seen a more shocking headline since the one about the Germans bombing Pearl Harbour.
Well played, sir.
I heard the tiger was removed afterwards and taken for a drive down JBR in a 4×4 with blacked out windows and a sunroof.
I bought a tiger off some guy down JBR – perhaps it is the same one? It’s now in my living room having tea.
u r kidding wilson
No, it’s very well behaved actually. Tigers love tea.
I was there and I did NOT see any tiger?? No medics nor anything? Are you sure you are reporting the right venue?
I believe there was a live Warg at the premier for the Hobbit.

The premier of Finding Nemo was pretty tame though…
