Tony Blair to commemorate 10th anniversary of Iraq invasion with lucrative speaking tour

LONDON: To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the disastrous invasion of Iraq, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has announced a lucrative international speaking tour in which he will discuss the motives behind his misguided decision to support George W Bush in 2003.

“Not a day goes by that I don’t think of the innocent Iraqis who died as a result of my horrific actions,” Blair said in a statement from his press office. “And what better way to reflect on the loss of life and the violent instability it brought to the whole world than hearing me candidly open my heart, $4,000-per-plate or $3,600 if you take the early bird offer.”
