Lounge is so circa 2013. I update using wifi from 30,000 feet while sipping a champagne in the 380 lounge after my first class shower or sometimes just shower in the champagne..

Why on earth do the airlines not automatically update your facebook profile when you arrive at the business class lounge. Its just sloppy behaviour, not to mention the inconvenience that I have to put my champagne glass down to ‘check in’ on my iphone.

When traveling business class i always check in outside the first class lounge door before they tell me to leave. Cant let people know that the rent hike has let my standards slip.

I check in whilst the stewardess prepares my shisha onboard the A380 dedicated shisha lounge. I do wish they would work on the ventilation issues though as it is getting increasingly difficult to see my screen through the accumulated smoke.

Surely, the logical thing would be to allow a Social Media ‘check-in’ to count as an official flight ‘check-in’. Saves any last minute airport emergencies like this.

I hope this is a stern wake up call to R.Branson et al.
With all the other worries and trepidations that come with air travel, Virgin staff should surely be checking up on these kinds of things for their high paying customers?!
I find it hard to believe that no formal apology was issued from the airline for their negligence in allowing this woman’s status to almost go un-posted.
I certainly will think twice about flying with them in the future if they allow things such as this to occur.

I cant believe someone would make an entire AIRPLANE turn around just so they can update there picture on four square , it’s not like we even care. Alot of people these days only think of themselves and there Image and don’t care about anyone else

The airport also has freight terminal, control tower, two hangars and service buildings for power and water supply. Passenger services at the airport include VP/VIP, business and first class lounges, canteens, post office and banks.

You can’t get in to Blue Marlin if you don’t check in on Facebook. a lot of places in Dubai are applying this rule. In my opinion its great, this will help me with my stalking/jealousy problems.

Wasn’t this democracy day? Reading this- from the original ironic quip to bring out quite a lot of inane and angry comments shows that democracy actually can’t work.
There are far too many stupid people to let everyone have an equally qualified vote
On the flip side – there are far too few decent people up for election in whom to trust our future.

I love watching Business Class disembark, they usually get pickup up by cousin Vinny in something like 2007 Corsa for the lift home to Brooklands or Reddish 🙂
